Magyarmet is engaged in precision investment casting (lost wax process) of high-alloy steel - corrosion-, acid-, wear- and heat-resistant, but also of bronze, Ni- and Co-based alloys. Our technology enables the production of castings weighing between 0,01 and 35 kg. As a result of continuous development of technology and investments in machines and equipment Magyarmet is able to produce parts of ever increasing complexity, e.g. undercut casting by using water-soluble wax cores. The bigger part of our products, approximately 90%, is exported to Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Austria, Spain, France, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and the Netherlands.
The products of MM are used in pumps and valves, instrumentation, food stuff processing, general and chemical engineering, petrochemistry, filtration and packaging equipment, big engine production, process and general engineering, construction etc.
Among the products are: pump bodies and impellers, cutting units, instrumentation housings and bonnets, screws, valve bodies and discs, distributors, burner tips, catalyst grids, cones, reducers, exhaust knees and flanges, spyders, implants etc.
Developing technology and quality assurance system characterise our company. It was audited first time in 1991 by the German TÜV Rheinland according to AD Merkblatt WO/TRD 100, renewed according the EC directive 97/23/EC (AD 2000 Merkblatt W 0). The quality assurance system is certified acc. to ISO 9001:2000, upgraded in the spring of 2009 to meet the requirements of AS 9100. Further certifications are: DB BN 918 046; ISO 3834 Part2 – Doc. IAB-337 és Doc. IIW 338 part 1. The environmental management system meets the requirements of 14001:2004 . Some of our Western European partners (e.g. Edwards HVI, Fisher Controls, Sidel and Wärtsilä NSD) have also approved the manufacturing technology and the quality assurance system of Magyarmet.
Responding to the expectations of targeted markets Magyarmet offers an ever increasing scale of services to its clients: consultations on castable materials and designs, in-house heat treatment (soft annealing, normalisation, hardening, case hardening, quenching, tempering, homogenising), CNC and conventional mechanical machining; and with subcontractorssurface treatment (painting, zinc-plating, pickling, electrolytical and mechanical polishing).
