Since 1983, we have been running a state-of-the-art tool and mould making operation for all branches of industry. The tools and moulds we produce are based either on our own designs or plans provided to us. Naturally, CNC wire cut EDM, die sink EDM, start hole drilling, milling, grinding, and chamfering are all covered in our fabrication.

Besides the tool and mould making operations we also have a stamping shop and a bending shop from 10 – 315 t, and a deep drawing press from 20 – 320 t as well as various bending machines. Two fully-automatic welding robots as well as CNC processing centres count as one of our newest acquisitions.

Our fabrication range consists of:

We make these products from a variety of materials according to samples or drawings. We’ll be glad to answer your needs with construction and design for the fabrication range detailed above.

Our services have been expanded to include a wet painting plant so that our products can be delivered entirely coated, mounted and packaged.

In our design studio, we will create the constructions for:

Schätti collaborates with companies from the electronic, machine building, home appliance and furniture industries. Schätti is one of the leading producers of fittings for beds and kitchen appliances in Europe.

Components and subassemblies
Our production is set up for manufacturing components and subassemblies in order quantities from 50 to 50’000 articles. This allows us to react promptly and flexibly to your requirements.
We focus on processing sheet metal, varying in thickness from 1 to 6 mm, coils up to 400 mm wide. We operate three automatic feed presses with a pressure range from 630 to 2000 kN. For separate operations, presses varying from 100 to 1600 kN in force are available.
Stamping, bending and progressive dies are mostly designed and produced in our own tool making shop.
Use our competence as supplier or outsourcing partner. Simplify your purchasing process by buying assemblies or ready to be sold components.

Mechanics
In addition to our sheet metal capacities we also produce milled and lathed parts.
CNC automatic lathes produce complex parts from a diameter of 4 to 36 mm. We operate mechanical automatic lathes for parts with simple geometry. Chuck parts up to 160 mm we manufacture on machines with driven tools.
Our machine tools produce parts up to 1800x400x400, our 3-, 4- and 5-axis Machining centers are equipped with pendulum adjustment, pallet exchanger, tool magazines up to 60 tools and measuring probes.
For quality assurance 3D measuring equipment is available in-house. All CNC controls are linked into the company network. Programming of the machines is done with NX CAM Express.

We offer turning, milling, grinding and as well as notching for our customers by drawing or sketch. If desired we may also develop, design, manufacture and assemble.
