TECHNOMETAL-Orfanidis Sons is a manufacturing (sub-contracting) company in terms of turning, milling, combination of both, gear cutting and shaping and small scale constructions.

Our company was established in 1986 by Vassilios D. Orfanidis (already in the field since 1965, as a member of the first generation of Orfanidis family manufacturing workshops) and developed its activity in manufacturing (turning, milling, gear cutting and shaping) and in repair works as well, offering products according to standards and of high quality.

The long term experience and the trained personnel in accordance to the latest technology machinery offer our customers the possibility of manufacturing or even repairing the most difficult parts, either according to drawings or samples. The research and development department of our company is always ready to develop customers need into drawings to be manufactured.

Our company operates in the present form since beginning of 2002 after the two sons of Vassilios D. Orfanidis joined the company, Dimitris (Beng in Mechanical Engineering & MSc in Intelligent Machinery and Artificial Intelligence) and Michael (Beng in Mechanical Engineering & MSc in Advanced Manufacturing).

The main site of the company is situated in ThessalonikiΆs main industrial estate and consists of ~1400m2 of plant, ~600m2 of assistance space (warehouse etc) and 100m2 of offices, all of them in a field of 4500m2.

Our company is activated in a few projects of all sizes at the same time. Some of our activities are:

Production / manufacture of components
We manufacture parts, spare parts and small series to mass production according to your drawings or a pattern. Our machining capabilities include CNC-controlled milling, drilling, turning, wire EDM, surface grinding and conventional crafts and sheet metal processing. We can use our processing centers, parts machining, up to the size:
L = about 2100, W= about 1000 B =, H = about 600 and up to a weight of 6500 lbs.

Construction
Design of tools, fixtures and equipment. 3D modeling for prototyping. Support for design tasks and advice on cost-effective and production-oriented manufacturing of your parts during development.

CAD / CAM
Acquisition and processing of all popular file formats such as : STEP, SAT, IGES, DWG and DXF programming with our
CAM system.
