Our company was established on 21st June 1993 with metalworking as its scope of activity. In the years to come, based on supply and demand we expanded our scope of activity to locksmith works and steel-structure manufacture.

We use industrial frequency furnace, cupola or duplex process with them to melt; make cores with shooters or shell machines. Molding is produced by hand, machine or automatic on the DISA line being 240 flasks (dimension: 600 x 480 x 120- 330MM) per hour or on the impact molding line being 120 flasks(dimension: 900 x 700 x 300 / 300MM) per hour which represents the world technical level of the late 80's. The output of ductile iron, gray iron & malleable iron castings is 45,000MT per year.

The main non-ferrous casting product are aluminum, copper, zinc & titanium alloy castings for automobile's engine, motorcycles, instrument, agricultural machinery, etc. The casting technologies include pressure die-casting, low-pressure die casting, centrifugal casting, permanent mould casting & sand mould casting. It has been equipped with about 30 sets die-casting machines rated locking force from 63 to 1300MT, the semi-automatic foundry line, heat-treatment furnace, spray sand machine, the equipment of casting immersion & etc. the annual output is 6000MT

The company KOVINSKI IZDELKI Milan Hrast s.p. was established in the year 1984 and was registered in Borjana, municipality of Kobarid.
