    At our sites in Kornwestheim,and Mosbach we manufacture technical plastic injection molded parts both in large series with annual quantities of over 1 million pieces and small series with annual quantities of 1000 pieces. Efficient production lines always guarantee you the best price. The required injection molds are manufactured in our own mold shop or ordered from our network of German and Chinese mold makers. Metal parts to be overmolded are mostly purchased from our sister company located 30km away. Our customers therefore receive their plastic parts directly from one source. On modern plastic injection molding machines we produce plastic injection molded parts from all thermoplastic materials with a weight of less than one gram up to 3kg. As an injection molding specialist, we process almost all conceivable plastics for the production of technical plastic parts. A high degree of automation of our injection molding process allows us to produce molded parts in small, medium as well as large quantities within our injection molding shop. A large portion of the injection molding machines are equipped with robotic systems and material feed conveyors. Machinery: We use only high-quality ARBURG and DEMAG injection molding machines for the production of your plastic parts. In total, we have access to a capacity of more than 25 injection molding machines. Injection molded parts can be produced with a part weight of 0.1g to 3000g. Injection molding machines are available for this purpose at the Kornwestheim, and Mosbach locations with clamping forces of 20- to 1300-tons. Injection molding materials: We can process almost any plastic material ("molding compound") in our injection molding machines. All common raw materials, such as ABS, PA, PE, PP, PET, PMMA, PC, POM, PS, ASA, SAN, TPE (in various shore hardnesses) but also high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PVDF, PSU as well as bioplastics and WPC (wood-plastic compounds) with wood content of up to 70%. Of course, all individual colorings are possible as well as the equipment with various additives (UV resistance, antistatic, etc.), fillers (glass fiber or glass ball) and of course also in V0 equipment (fire protection and glow wire resistance).     C. Melchers & Co. was established on January 1, 1806 in Bremen, where the global company still maintains its headquarters to this very day. In the first few decades of the company’s history, over 30 ships sailed the oceans of the world under the Melchers flag, linking the ports of Europe, America and the Pacific. In the 1860s, C. Melchers & Co set up operations in Asia, where all its trading interests swiftly moved. At the same time, with the onset of steam ships, it abandoned its own shipping business to devote itself entirely to extending its trading operations. 1866 saw the establishment of the first branch in Hong Kong, in the wake of which China began to develop into a key lynchpin for the company’s business. The ensuing decades were a period of rapid growth for Melchers in China, with over 2,000 people employed at 12 branches and plants throughout the country. The First World War proved to be a setback for business relations, although business quickly recovered. It was not until the end of the Second World War in 1945 that business came to an almost complete halt. Even so, the company continued to survive, re-opening its first branches in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in the early fifties and gradually extending its branch network across Asia. Following the opening of the Chinese markets at the end of the seventies, Melchers set up branches here again, underscoring the significance of Chinese business for the company. With the establishment of a branch in San Francisco in the early eighties, the company also started to engage in US-Asian trade so as to gain a share of the rapidly growing trading relations between these two regions. Trade with China remains a key focus of the company’s overall business, comprising as it does imports of special natural products and finished goods on the one hand and exports of plant, machinery and supplies for the Asian industry on the other. Yet, business with South East Asia has since also come to the fore, with the company amassing broad-based expertise in marketing and selling consumer goods in particular. There are special departments for each article group in Bremen as well as at the foreign branches. They work largely independently within the overall company and are staffed by highly qualified experts. Output material thickness of 15 mm. The possibilities of post are manually sawing, punching and 5-axis CNC machining. The machining of deep-drawn parts is possible without restrictions with our new 5-axis CNC machining center. We may use your 3-D data as trimming data for CNC programming for CNC machining. At our site Wurmlingen in Tuttlingen, we have created approximately 2500qm optimal production conditions for our currently seven employees. The extraordinary success story of the company now extends back decades. 1959 by Herbert Enzler sen. Founded in 1984 by Alois Kober KG participated in the plastics company.
