Company description
With the acquisition of the manufacturing operation of Zeiss Group in 1991, the foundation stone for the Böhm manufacturing technology Suhl GmbH was laid. The company had a solid base in manufacturing technology and an excellent potential qualified employees. Based on this, the company could develop quickly and is today a leader in the areas of equipment and special machinery, electronics, handling systems and manufacturing lines. In 2005, Böhm manufacturing technology Suhl GmbH parent company of Böhm corporation with headquarters in Zella-Mehlis. With its subsidiaries in Turkey and the Slovak Republic, the international market is being processed.
With multiple six-figure investment and resistant innovations of Böhm manufacturing technology Suhl GmbH managed the transition from a parts supplier to a developer and producer of complex solutions. The company has almost 200 employees covers all segments of development and design, planning, construction, laboratory testing, manufacturing to on-site commissioning or procurement and logistics of large client companies.It will be offered with the highest standard of quality solutions to complex tasks from a single source.
The majority of the Böhm-client operates internationally and 80% belong to their segment of the market leaders. Structurally, the spectrum from large international companies moved from many renowned industry through to indigenous SMEs: for example, the food and packaging industry, semiconductor industry, optical disc industry, medical and rehabilitation technology, automation technology, print media industry, textile industry and defense technology. In 2008, the company undertook several new projects and dared to join them as a system supplier in solar technology.
