GBM is a middle-sized manufacturer for precision plastic tooling, injection moulding, stack molding, single-shot and multi-component injection molding (2-K and 3-K, 2K with metal inserts ), rotary 2-shot molding and vertical insert molding ( metal-to-plastic molding).
Our customers come from various fields, such as automotive, electric, medical,consumer, industrial and many others. We have an European after-service center in Netherland to support our European customers.
Analysis, design and manufacturing of moulds are made in house. We have 7 tooling engineers, including mold designers and CNC programmers. For mould making we conduct 2-shift operation of EDM and CNC milling.
Our tooling processes include: Drilling and tapping, CNC milling, steel hardenning, grinding, EDM （Electric Discharge Machining）, wire-cutting, SPI standard polish, texture, laser engraving, mould fitting and assembly, injection.
The Granules and raw materials we have processed include but not limited:
Polypropylene (PP Copo, homo), polyethylene (PE, 2-shot molding), polycarbonate (PC, clear, 2-Shot molding), ABS (standard or high impact), polystyrene (PS), Polyamide (PA6, PA6.6, unfilled, 10-60% GF filled) , Polyoxymethylene (POM),Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA,acrylic), PC / ABS blend, etc. , UL approved anti-flame plastic resins.
We have learnt good experience from the successful tooling and molding projects, such as:
1). Multi-level stack mold design and stack molding.
2). High temperature moulding for: Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), Phenylenesulfide (PPS),
Polyphenylene sulfone resins (PPSU).
3). Elastic materials molding for: Thermoplastic Elastomer(TPE), Thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV).
4). Molding and mold making for optical materials: PC, PMMA.
5). Unscrewing moulding, rotation ejection system for parts have interior threads.
6). Metal-to-plastic insert molding: Besides standard 2-plate mold for insert molding, we also do rotary insert molding, use a special mold also known as shuttle mold. The mold with 1 injection side and 2 ejection side, which can rotate for moulding operator or robot to place metal insert to another mold half, therefore shorten production time and lower production cost.
7). 2-Component molding: First shot PC+ second shot PE; First shot PC/ABS blend + second shot TPV. We are familiar with Arburg L-shape 2-shot molding machine.

1) Tool room area: 1,200 m².
2) Tool making: 7 designers and CNC programmers, 6 mold fitting operators, 2-shift CNC milling and EMD. 100% inspection for electrodes and main mould components.
3) Mould capacity: From less than 1kg mold component machining to 5,500 kg 2-shot mould.
Family mould, as much as 12 different parts with different quantity made in only one mold.
Multiple hot-runner mould.
4) Annual output: 150 molds made in 2016. Over 80% export to North America to Europe.
5) Injection moulding: 1-K, 2-K, 3-K, multi-component injection molding, stack molding, vertical molding, metal-to-plastic insert molding, overmolding, rotation type ejection for plastic parts with interior thread profile.
6) Service: Part analysis, moldflow, design for manufacturing (DFM), mould design, mold manufacturing, texture and polishing, small lot production, mass injection molding, part assembly, coating and printing.
