The DOCERAM Dortmund was founded in 1994 as the merchant and former leader of the Business DOTHERM Jürgen Moeschter met the visionary ceramic engineer Marcus lobes. Lobes had recognized the immense importance of ceramic materials for the modern high-tech industry early on and was looking for a partner. The ceramic part, conformed precisely to the company profile of DOTHERM that offered heat protection solutions with their thermosetting plastics - one of the many properties of the ceramic.
Was swiftly reached an agreement and the DOCERAM was lifted out of the baptism at the location of the DOTHERM.
The concept of DOCERAM was then as now: convincing competence and commitment. This is achieved by the DOCERAM Dortmund now 18 highly motivated European employees at home and abroad, and over 100 Asian employees at two sites in China, Yixing and Shanghai.
