Company description

Materials

A demand-sorted material storage provides the conditions for short delivery times, maximum flexibility and punctuality. Also, the materials used, the quality plays a decisive role: For use only high-quality cold-rolled strips reputable, certified mills come. Materials are processed from 0.05 to 10 mm thick and coil widths up to 400 mm.
The range of materials includes the following qualities:
Unalloyed steels according to DIN EN 10139
Hardening steels according to DIN EN 10132-2
Quenched and tempered steels according to DIN EN 10132-3
Spring steels according to DIN EN 10132-4
Stainless steels according to DIN EN 10088-2
Aluminum and wrought aluminum alloys according to DIN EN 485-1 and DIN EN 485-2
Copper and wrought copper alloys according to DIN EN 1652 and DIN EN 13599
Hard paper, pressboard, plastic

Toolmaking
The quality of the tool is one of the most important prerequisites for trouble-free and efficient punching parts production.

The tooling of E. Winkemann manufactures tools with highest precision. The field of tool / construction is equipped among others with the following devices:
2D and 3D CAD systems in the field of tool design
CNC EDM, drilling, milling and jig grinders with CAM connection
The exchange of design data is in IGES or DXF format. For around 6000 are consequential, composite, flexural, and embossing tools or total cuts available.

Stamping technology
The stamping of E. Winkemann is equipped with a powerful machinery, responsive to the diverse areas of use and the materials to be processed.
The machines range from mechanical or hydraulic punching machines and presses to various bending machines:
Hydraulic machinery and punching machines (25 to 500 tons)
Eccentric (10 to 35 tons)
Hydraulic presses (15 to 200 tons)
Punching and bending machines (up to 15)
Stamping machines (up to 200)
Fine blanking machines (up to 700)

Fineblanking / cutting
The fine blanking allows the production of precision parts with smooth cut surfaces and high dimensional accuracy.
Costly rework can be omitted.
Straight-cut percentage up to 100%.
The fine blanking machines with max. 320 tons pressing force can process material thicknesses up to about 7 mm.
In addition, there is also the possibility of products on fine blanking machines with max. To process 700 tons press force.

Flatting
If the required thickness tolerance or flatness can not be achieved by cold rolling with the primary materials with a thickness of 0.8 mm, the parts are ground flat. The result is a thickness tolerance and flatness of ± 0.005 mm. High demands of these parameters are primarily intended for products which are used for example in units and transmissions. Representing this are start-up, passport and shims to call.
Fine grinding
Slices or moldings with a thickness of 0.8 mm and an outer diameter 4.0 mm könnnen be honed for maximum precision requirements with a tolerance of ± 0.001 mm.

Post
For the post-processing of the products are modern, electronically controlled and linked compensation and processing equipment available:
Fully automatic compensation system with process data acquisition and batch documentation
Program-controlled systems for automatic vibratory deburring
Washing and cleaning equipment
Machines and assembly equipment for drilling, tapping, riveting, stamping and assembling.
