Company description

Josef Sebek company was created in 1990. In the same year to the initial manufacturing of metal furniture was added a final finish of metal components - with powder thermosetting plastics. In 1993 was newly set up a furniture plant and placed the company between one of the most prominent producers of library, archives and museums interiors.

In 1995, as a result of growing demands on manufacturing spaces, a construction of a new manufacturing area started on our own property. A plant in this new area has started in 1996, with more than double manufacturing space.

V dnešní době firma zaměstnává 95 osob a realizuje výrobu na cca 5000 m2 jejíž součástí je třípodlažní administrativní budova se vzorkovnou.

In present times the company employs 95 staff members. The manufacturing is taking place on circa 5000 m2 and includes three-storied administrative building with a sample room.


Technological modernization is closely connected with a gradual development of the company. In a field of wood-chops veneer sheets work and first and foremost in a field of steel metal sheets work and metal sheets from nonferrous metal the company has a use of the most advanced integral technologies with CNC control.

All manufacturing processes are controlled in conformity with the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000

"Ecologically Sound Product" [registered under the number 12 - 05] for office and hotel furniture [all library furniture is manufactured from the same materials and with the identical technologies].

The realization of a complex equipment for the Faculty of Arts, at Masaryk University, Brno, won the company the INTERIOR OF A YEAR 2002 prize.

In present time there are three basic programs:


- engineering [metal work, light construction,...]

- furnishing

- final finish with powder plastic
