About us
We, the Rex Industrie-Produkte Graf von Rex GmbH is a medium-sized company with about 75 employees. The company is based in Vellberg in the Hohenlohe region between Schwäbisch Hall, Crailsheim and Ellwangen.

We have specialized in niche applications:

Technical textiles for heat protection and insulation

Insulation products of inorganic / organic fibrous raw materials for fire, heat, cold and sound insulation

Fire protection products for building construction

Friction and sliding materials (REX 2000) for industrial applications

Moldings in vacuum forming

Metalworking for mechanical engineering and special engineering


Our products are customized and application specifically designed depending on the problem. They are characterized by excellent technical characteristics and consistently high quality. They are quick, handle clean and safe.

Our main areas of application are mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, railway, power plants, military and industrial standard and special solutions.


The introduced and practiced quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008.

Furthermore, the quality management system for certain products, correspond to Module D (production quality assurance) of Directive 96/98/EC on marine equipment and is regularly reviewed and certified by the See-BG.
