The rmw Cable Systems GmbH, a forward-thinking company from Thuringia, located in the immediate vicinity of Hermsdorfer Cross on the A9 motorway and the airport Leipzig / Halle has arisen out of the Carl Zeiss Jena group.
Since its founding in May 1991, rmw grown steadily - big enough for large orders and small enough to preserve flexibility. rmw has become so well established with more than 170 employees, electrical mechanics, mechatronics, toolmakers and engineers, the right size for almost all production requirements and has been on the market as a supplier of more than 160 customers.

In dialogue with the customer in Crossen products are manufactured, tested and documented for a variety of industries. Focal points are aerospace, medical technology and machinery, vehicles and equipment.
Production for air carriers and their suppliers, has for many years, a growing segment in rmw.
Our products can be found among others in the aircraft by Airbus, BOEING and Embraer.
The good cooperation with Airbus Germany and some suppliers meant that we were also included for the A380 as a supplier.
Reference customers in the aerospace industry include: EADS, EADS Astrium, Jena-Optronics, KID-Systeme, the DIEHL Group and the North Microsystems AG in Frankfurt.
A significant role in the area rmw takes a medical. The foundation stone was laid by the long-standing collaboration with Philips Medical Systems, Hamburg.
In addition to Philips, we are working for Atmos, Kuhnke, Tonfunk, GORE and Carl Zeiss Meditec. Our products are used in computed tomography, X-ray generators, X-ray tubes, image intensifiers, examination devices for digital radiography, lithotripters and equipment for ophthalmology, skin surgery and dentistry.

The overall quality management in our company ensures the fulfillment of all by the customer quality requirements. That is, each product is subjected to optical and electrical testing - proven and documented by test certificates. This quality policy has enabled us to successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN 9100.
For the aviation sector, we manufacture according QSF QSF-A and-B, certified by Airbus Hamburg. As a future system supplier QSF-C is in preparation.
