Company description

Schorpp technology was founded in 1995 by today's owner Harald Schorpp. At that time, a wire EDM and the tailored applications for small parts formed the business base.

Until the year 2000 was developed and produced in Gütenbach, later in the university town Furtwangen. The machine park has been continuously expanded in the field of erosion and machining technology based on modern CNC technology.

Schorpp technology produces fine mechanical components, which are used in aerospace applications, among others. High-precision Schorpp components are used in the earth observation satellites TerraSAR-X and in the associated radar unit TanDEM-X for 3D height measurements.

In addition, Schorpp specializes in prototype construction and small batches, where wire and sink erosion is used. Even ceramic materials for extreme applications such as SiSiC, C / SiC, titanium borite or Sigradur® can be processed.
