    We already work with 5-6 foundries and many machining plants located in Konya. The total practicable capacity of our foundries is about 30.000 tons/year. There is no problem on the materials.     Precision series production Our series production deals with companies in the electronic industry mainly. For those companies a high quantity of products in good quality matters and so we use our turning automats, rotary transfer machines and indexing table machines in optimal way to meet theire requirements in a flexible and economical way.

    Precision tools and components The division has a big branch of customers from different industries for whom it produces special-purpose tools as fastener for reversing plates, profile and forming tools and many more. The range of parts produced in this division is limited by diameters up to 250 x 250 mm and we use combinations of grinding, eroding, milling or turning in an optimal way to ensure good quality. Therefore we use 5-axis milling centers and the latest CAD / CAM Systems to guarantee repeatability and the high standard of quality.

    Tool sharpening With most modern 5-axis CNC grinding machines and with the help of graphical simulation programs we produce new tools as stepped drills, profile millers and special-purpose tools. Further we regrind or reproduce special and standard tools with original geometrical data so the tools are as capable as new once.

It goes without saying that we are always ready to assist our customers in preparing drawings and calculations of strengths, etc. UP-TO-DATE FACILITIES By mid-2001, Niebuhr Tandhjulsfabrik outgrew its premises in central Ikast and the company moved into a new, 8400 sq.m industrial construction situated in the new industrial area in Ikast, next to the Herning-Aarhus motorway. The central location of Niebuhr Tandhjulsfabrik in Denmark as well as the motorway "next door" means shorter distances to our export markets: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Production flow has been optimised to prevent superfluous transport among our groups of machines. Furthermore, production is designed to ensure sufficient space for future expansion activities. Products Niebuhr supplies gearwheels of the highest quality. Niebuhr`s machinery reflects our objective of ensuring optimal quality in all aspects of production. Our machines are updated on an ongoing basis through investments in state-of-the-art production and measuring equipment, ensuring high, uniform and competitive quality. Niebuhr Tandhjulsfabrik has a very large range of state-of-the-art machinery, complete with equipment capable of manufacturing gearwheels, cutting off discs, turning, boring, milling, slotting, toothing, hardening and grinding, including flank grinding. Niebuhr Tandhjulsfabrik also has a large stock of the most widely used raw steel qualities, which helps the company reduce delivery times. The quality of our products has to be in order and able to meet the expectations and drawing requirements of our customers. This is ensured, among other things, by means of our quality manual which is structured according to ISO 9001:2001. Our measuring room also has calibrated, state-of-the-art measuring tools, enabling us to document that the quality produced meets the requirements specified in drawings and expected by customers. That all units are washed thoroughly and packed carefully before being dispatching to the customer is a matter of course. OWN HARDENING PLANT As something out of the ordinary for the industry, Niebuhr has its own hardening plant, enabling us to control price, quality, delivery time and price as costly, time-consuming transportation between hardening plant and production is not required. Being independent of external hardening under contract also ensures a high degree of flexibility. RELIABILITY OF DELIVERY Niebuhr Tandhjulsfabrik makes to order, only, supplying products in major chains of supplies; therefore, delivery on time is essential to ensure uninterrupted production processes at our customers. Thanks to thorough production planning, we are able to execute major orders within 3-5 weeks on average, but in emergency situations, our customers can always rely on lightning quick delivery of minor, urgent tasks.
